The most important feature of our system is the fact that it has identical inference rules for every modal logic; different modal logics can be obtained by changing the conditions under which two formulas are allowed to resolve against each other . It is argued that the proof method is very natural because these conditions correspond to the conditions on the accessibility relation in Kripke semantics.","doi":null,"url":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1987/194","pdf":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1987/0194.pdf","markdown":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1987/194.md","bibtex":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1987/bibtex/194","volume":{"slug":"1987","title":"Proceedings of the Tenth International Joint Conference on Artificial Intelligence","short_title":"IJCAI 1987","url":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1987/","year":1987,"location":"Milan, Italy","dates":"","editors":"John McDermott","isbn":"","publisher":"International Joint Conferences on Artificial Intelligence","doi_prefix":""},"section":"Reasoning","track":"Reasoning","number":194,"pages":{"first":942,"last":943},"keywords":[],"videos":[],"references":[],"license_note":"Copyright International Joint Conferences on Artificial Intelligence."}
