Marr and his school zero-c.rossings detection is proposed as one of the fust stages of human visual information proc~ssing. The justification of this theory ~equues that the zero crossings are rich in Information about the original image. In a paper, T. Poggio, H.K. Nishihara and K.R.K . Nielsen stated that a successful extension of B. Logan's analysis to two-dimensional images represents one of the critical unsolved steps of this C<?mput!ltional ~heory. Moreover, such an extension IS crucial to the question of spatiotemporal interpolation in vision. In this paper, we shall provide a solution to this problem using a theory of spherical perspective and spherical harmonics.","doi":null,"url":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1987/149","pdf":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1987/0149.pdf","markdown":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1987/149.md","bibtex":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1987/bibtex/149","volume":{"slug":"1987","title":"Proceedings of the Tenth International Joint Conference on Artificial Intelligence","short_title":"IJCAI 1987","url":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1987/","year":1987,"location":"Milan, Italy","dates":"","editors":"John McDermott","isbn":"","publisher":"International Joint Conferences on Artificial Intelligence","doi_prefix":""},"section":"Perception","track":"Perception","number":149,"pages":{"first":742,"last":743},"keywords":[],"videos":[],"references":[],"license_note":"Copyright International Joint Conferences on Artificial Intelligence."}
