This type of logic provides a unified framework for various problems such as discourse consistency verification, polysemy and \"abuses\" of terms, syntactic ambiguity solving and anaphora resolution . In addition, this logic enables intelligent diagnosis of categorial constraint violations between predicates and arguments.","doi":null,"url":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1987/125","pdf":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1987/0125.pdf","markdown":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1987/125.md","bibtex":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1987/bibtex/125","volume":{"slug":"1987","title":"Proceedings of the Tenth International Joint Conference on Artificial Intelligence","short_title":"IJCAI 1987","url":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1987/","year":1987,"location":"Milan, Italy","dates":"","editors":"John McDermott","isbn":"","publisher":"International Joint Conferences on Artificial Intelligence","doi_prefix":""},"section":"Natural Language","track":"Natural Language","number":125,"pages":{"first":633,"last":634},"keywords":[],"videos":[],"references":[],"license_note":"Copyright International Joint Conferences on Artificial Intelligence."}
