In this paper we will be concerned with devel· oping an explanatory theory of a particular type of intro· spection: a robot agent 's knowledge of his own beliefs. The d eve lopment is both descriptive, in the sense of being able to capture introspective behavior as it exist; and prescrip· tive, in yielding an effective means of adding introspective reasoning abilities to robot agents.","doi":null,"url":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1985/96","pdf":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1985/0096.pdf","markdown":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1985/96.md","bibtex":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1985/bibtex/96","volume":{"slug":"1985","title":"Proceedings of the Ninth International Joint Conference on Artificial Intelligence","short_title":"IJCAI 1985","url":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1985/","year":1985,"location":"Los Angeles, California, USA","dates":"","editors":"Aravind Joshi","isbn":"","publisher":"International Joint Conferences on Artificial Intelligence","doi_prefix":""},"section":"Knowledge Representation","track":"Knowledge Representation","number":96,"pages":{"first":502,"last":507},"keywords":[],"videos":[],"references":[],"license_note":"Copyright International Joint Conferences on Artificial Intelligence."}
