By contrast, programs which operate on streams of data usually do not terminate and usually produce streams of output data during execution. Such stream programs may be specified with a technique which is a generalization of specification techniques for conventional programs. The use of transformations also seems to be an appropriate technique for automatically synthesizing stream programs.","doi":null,"url":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1985/43","pdf":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1985/0043.pdf","markdown":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1985/43.md","bibtex":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1985/bibtex/43","volume":{"slug":"1985","title":"Proceedings of the Ninth International Joint Conference on Artificial Intelligence","short_title":"IJCAI 1985","url":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1985/","year":1985,"location":"Los Angeles, California, USA","dates":"","editors":"Aravind Joshi","isbn":"","publisher":"International Joint Conferences on Artificial Intelligence","doi_prefix":""},"section":"Automatic Programming","track":"Automatic Programming","number":43,"pages":{"first":232,"last":236},"keywords":[],"videos":[],"references":[],"license_note":"Copyright International Joint Conferences on Artificial Intelligence."}
