The approach is Fregean and is compared with the work of HcCarthy and Creary. We des c ribe how the formalism represents the knowing of intensional individuals, coreferentiality, iterated propositional attitudes, and we describe plans to test the scheme in the domain of speech act recognition.","doi":null,"url":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1983/91","pdf":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1983/0091.pdf","markdown":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1983/91.md","bibtex":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1983/bibtex/91","volume":{"slug":"1983","title":"Proceedings of the Eighth International Joint Conference on Artificial Intelligence","short_title":"IJCAI 1983","url":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1983/","year":1983,"location":"Karlsruhe, West Germany","dates":"","editors":"Alan Bundy","isbn":"","publisher":"International Joint Conferences on Artificial Intelligence","doi_prefix":""},"section":"Knowledge Representation","track":"Knowledge Representation","number":91,"pages":{"first":382,"last":383},"keywords":[],"videos":[],"references":[],"license_note":"Copyright International Joint Conferences on Artificial Intelligence."}
