Proceedings of the Eighth International Joint Conference on Artificial Intelligence. Vision. Pages 1035-1036.
Abstract
We r E port so me preliminary experimental re s ults on est imatin g g eneral three-dimens ional ration parameters of a ri g id body from ~wo consecutiv e image frames taken by a tele vi si on c a~era. The approach i s to firstxL r act corne r point coordinates to s ubpixeiaccuracy from g rayvalue images, then match them between two fra m es , and finally solve a se t of ronlinear equation s to obtain the motion rarameters. T wo factors affect the accuracy cf s olutions : The magnit ud e of th a motion rarameter s and the errors in the raw data . These are discu sse d in the analy sis ofthe e xperimental result s .
