These matches . together with objectmodels . provide hypotheses about the 3D location of the objects containing the recognized surfaces . When a hypothesis is complete. the program describes the matched data and model surface boundaries in termsof the raw. model. These descriptions are used used to verify the physical consistency of the hypotheses and to explain extra or hypothesize missing features caused by obscured components .","doi":null,"url":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1983/230","pdf":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1983/0230.pdf","markdown":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1983/230.md","bibtex":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1983/bibtex/230","volume":{"slug":"1983","title":"Proceedings of the Eighth International Joint Conference on Artificial Intelligence","short_title":"IJCAI 1983","url":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1983/","year":1983,"location":"Karlsruhe, West Germany","dates":"","editors":"Alan Bundy","isbn":"","publisher":"International Joint Conferences on Artificial Intelligence","doi_prefix":""},"section":"Vision","track":"Vision","number":230,"pages":{"first":989,"last":994},"keywords":[],"videos":[],"references":[{"position":1,"raw":"X: -25 Y:l24 Z:440 Rotation:O.l2 Slant:O . l3 Tilt:5.56 jntl:O.B3 jnt2 : 0.BB jnt3:4.54 11.
