## Abstract

In this paper we propose a hi e rarch ic al structure for describing objects, called the Pr is m Tree. ternary tree structure, inspired from planar Strip Tree, is built from initial triangulation of the object u si ng a polyhedral approximation a lgorithm. Differ e nt propert ies of r e presentation are shown, as well a lgorithms for intersecting objetts neighbor finding techniques.
