Reflecting the modular conception of a GB grammar, the parser cons i sts of several distinct procedures corresponding to the subsystems of the grammar (e . g . phrasestructure rules, binding, control, ' theta '-th eory , etc.). The interaction of these fairly simple modu l es produces the kind of complexity required in order to build all the linguistically motivated structures for a given sentence.","doi":null,"url":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1983/165","pdf":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1983/0165.pdf","markdown":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1983/165.md","bibtex":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1983/bibtex/165","volume":{"slug":"1983","title":"Proceedings of the Eighth International Joint Conference on Artificial Intelligence","short_title":"IJCAI 1983","url":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1983/","year":1983,"location":"Karlsruhe, West Germany","dates":"","editors":"Alan Bundy","isbn":"","publisher":"International Joint Conferences on Artificial Intelligence","doi_prefix":""},"section":"Natural Language","track":"Natural Language","number":165,"pages":{"first":686,"last":688},"keywords":[],"videos":[],"references":[],"license_note":"Copyright International Joint Conferences on Artificial Intelligence."}
