Our claim is that these intuitions can be represented by a two-stage model whose first step consists of classificatory processes and whose second step is essentially that of inductive inferences. We shall present our case by discussing three leve ls of structure to be found in the discourse of a patient in psychoanalysis: the surface TEXT, the classification of this text in Linguistic MAPS and Personal Event FRAMES derived from the maps.","doi":null,"url":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1981/77","pdf":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1981/0077.pdf","markdown":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1981/77.md","bibtex":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1981/bibtex/77","volume":{"slug":"1981","title":"Proceedings of the Seventh International Joint Conference on Artificial Intelligence","short_title":"IJCAI 1981","url":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1981/","year":1981,"location":"Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada","dates":"24-28 August 1981","editors":"Roger C.
