A useful representation must make apparent the roles of various circuit components 1n implementing the overall circuit function . and must allow a pr ogram to reason about the operation of the circuit at vanous levels of abstraction. This paper summarizes our efforts to develop such a representation . This work is closely related to other AI work on representing plans and on representing and reasoning about complex physical processes .***","doi":null,"url":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1981/67","pdf":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1981/0067.pdf","markdown":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1981/67.md","bibtex":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1981/bibtex/67","volume":{"slug":"1981","title":"Proceedings of the Seventh International Joint Conference on Artificial Intelligence","short_title":"IJCAI 1981","url":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1981/","year":1981,"location":"Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada","dates":"24-28 August 1981","editors":"Roger C.
