We present the Apple II version of a complete, portable, Prolog system [1]. The system is implemen ted in Candide. a language specially designed to write the Prolog interpreter. This language produces code for a virtual machine Micromegas. It i s important to notice that such a system could not be implemented on a micro computer without using a floppy-disk virtual memory. We have demonstrated in a previous paper that this approach yields reasonable performance with good reliability.","doi":null,"url":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1981/203","pdf":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1981/0203.pdf","markdown":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1981/203.md","bibtex":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1981/bibtex/203","volume":{"slug":"1981","title":"Proceedings of the Seventh International Joint Conference on Artificial Intelligence","short_title":"IJCAI 1981","url":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1981/","year":1981,"location":"Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada","dates":"24-28 August 1981","editors":"Roger C.
