For several restricted cases of motion, these constraint3 greatly simplify the determination of inter-frame motion and the inference of environmental information. These structural properties are briefly reviewed. Procedures are presented for computing, and making environmental inferences from, optic flow produced when camera motion is known, translational, or restricted to a plane. Some applications are diSCUS3ed.","doi":null,"url":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1981/133","pdf":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1981/0133.pdf","markdown":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1981/133.md","bibtex":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1981/bibtex/133","volume":{"slug":"1981","title":"Proceedings of the Seventh International Joint Conference on Artificial Intelligence","short_title":"IJCAI 1981","url":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1981/","year":1981,"location":"Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada","dates":"24-28 August 1981","editors":"Roger C.
