A method is developed, using existent theory, for determining the shape of visually textured surfaces exhibiting varying degrees of specularity. The photometric~ is extended to four source photometry as the basis for this work. The reflectance map approach for determining surface normals is shown to be of 1 ittle value in this context and a more direct method of computing these normals is used.","doi":null,"url":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1981/122","pdf":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1981/0122.pdf","markdown":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1981/122.md","bibtex":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1981/bibtex/122","volume":{"slug":"1981","title":"Proceedings of the Seventh International Joint Conference on Artificial Intelligence","short_title":"IJCAI 1981","url":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1981/","year":1981,"location":"Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada","dates":"24-28 August 1981","editors":"Roger C.
