These two problems stem from a common source: the interaction of intentional and nonintentional actions. We review a simulation model of cognitive and motivational processes based on a production system architecture that includes both types of actions. We then describe a meta system addition to the simulation model composed of nonintentional actions.","doi":null,"url":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1979/59","pdf":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1979/0059.pdf","markdown":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1979/59.md","bibtex":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1979/bibtex/59","volume":{"slug":"1979","title":"Proceedings of the Sixth International Joint Conference on Artificial Intelligence","short_title":"IJCAI 1979","url":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1979/","year":1979,"location":"Tokyo, Japan","dates":"August 20-23, 1979","editors":"Bruce G.
