This paper presents general results on Inconsistency, Including an Interesting restriction on the relation of knowing. A theory having a uniform method of expressing Ideas, Ideas of ideas, and so on, is sketched. It Is shown how to restrict some of the axioms of this theory In order to obtain consistency. The method of obtaining consistency seems to have some generality.","doi":null,"url":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1979/53","pdf":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1979/0053.pdf","markdown":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1979/53.md","bibtex":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1979/bibtex/53","volume":{"slug":"1979","title":"Proceedings of the Sixth International Joint Conference on Artificial Intelligence","short_title":"IJCAI 1979","url":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1979/","year":1979,"location":"Tokyo, Japan","dates":"August 20-23, 1979","editors":"Bruce G.
