An attempt is made to provide some perspective on and structure to the set of tactics. Finally, some new directions for problemsolving research are discussed, and a personal perspective is provided on where the work is headed: toward greater flexibility of control and more intimate integration of plan generation, execution, and repair.","doi":null,"url":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1979/227","pdf":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1979/0227.pdf","markdown":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1979/227.md","bibtex":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1979/bibtex/227","volume":{"slug":"1979","title":"Proceedings of the Sixth International Joint Conference on Artificial Intelligence","short_title":"IJCAI 1979","url":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1979/","year":1979,"location":"Tokyo, Japan","dates":"August 20-23, 1979","editors":"Bruce G.
