In this paper we illustrate how analogy can be used in a non-trivial problem solving domain. Though we restrict ourselves here to the domain of computer programming, we argue that the principal idea is applicable to a broad class of problem solving situations.","doi":null,"url":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1979/130","pdf":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1979/0130.pdf","markdown":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1979/130.md","bibtex":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1979/bibtex/130","volume":{"slug":"1979","title":"Proceedings of the Sixth International Joint Conference on Artificial Intelligence","short_title":"IJCAI 1979","url":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1979/","year":1979,"location":"Tokyo, Japan","dates":"August 20-23, 1979","editors":"Bruce G.
