The thesis of this paper is that a higher level of modularity for granmar rules can be attained by making semantic ATNs sharable t?rough schemata (:alled \"c~:mcepts\") of the knowledge base. A workspace of activatable subATNs gu~des the parser m choos~ng among competing PUSH arcs.
