SISP/1 is able to infer the recursive form of many linear recursive functions and its stop-condition. SISP/1 tries to work with one example only. When it fails, it asks for new ones: using then a method of generating new partial subproblems, SISP/1 is able to perfect its generated recursive function until it gets a correct one.","doi":null,"url":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1977/95","pdf":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1977/0095.pdf","markdown":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1977/95.md","bibtex":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1977/bibtex/95","volume":{"slug":"1977","title":"Proceedings of the Fifth International Joint Conference on Artificial Intelligence","short_title":"IJCAI 1977","url":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1977/","year":1977,"location":"Cambridge, MA, USA","dates":"","editors":"Raj Reddy","isbn":"","publisher":"International Joint Conferences on Artificial Intelligence","doi_prefix":""},"section":"Aids to Programming","track":"Aids to Programming","number":95,"pages":{"first":412,"last":417},"keywords":[],"videos":[],"references":[],"license_note":"Copyright International Joint Conferences on Artificial Intelligence."}
