It acts ,as a problem-solver to find routes and relative positions, as well as describing the current location. The TOUR model describes the multiple representations that make up the cognitive map, the problem-solving strategies it uses, and the mechanisms for assimilating new information. The representations have rich collections of states of partial knowledge, which support many of the attractive qualities of common-sense knowledge.","doi":null,"url":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1977/66","pdf":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1977/0066.pdf","markdown":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1977/66.md","bibtex":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1977/bibtex/66","volume":{"slug":"1977","title":"Proceedings of the Fifth International Joint Conference on Artificial Intelligence","short_title":"IJCAI 1977","url":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1977/","year":1977,"location":"Cambridge, MA, USA","dates":"","editors":"Raj Reddy","isbn":"","publisher":"International Joint Conferences on Artificial Intelligence","doi_prefix":""},"section":"Representation of Knowledge","track":"Representation of Knowledge","number":66,"pages":{"first":292,"last":297},"keywords":[],"videos":[],"references":[],"license_note":"Copyright International Joint Conferences on Artificial Intelligence."}
