Its data base consists of historical information, which attemps to describe the attitudes, political, religious and interpersonal, of the chief characters of the period. Question answering is done bysearch of the data base and by inference on the information therein. The difficulties of representingthis type of data and of formulating inference rules dealing with human motivations and attitudes is also discussed.","doi":null,"url":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1977/205","pdf":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1977/0205.pdf","markdown":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1977/205.md","bibtex":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1977/bibtex/205","volume":{"slug":"1977","title":"Proceedings of the Fifth International Joint Conference on Artificial Intelligence","short_title":"IJCAI 1977","url":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1977/","year":1977,"location":"Cambridge, MA, USA","dates":"","editors":"Raj Reddy","isbn":"","publisher":"International Joint Conferences on Artificial Intelligence","doi_prefix":""},"section":"Applications","track":"Applications","number":205,"pages":{"first":873,"last":878},"keywords":[],"videos":[],"references":[],"license_note":"Copyright International Joint Conferences on Artificial Intelligence."}
