The parts can be of the same type or of different types. Furthermore, the system can work with visually noisy scenes and some occlusion. Abstract two-dimensional models are formed by having the system view the parts under favorable conditions. Parts are found by matching the abstract models to the scene data, after it has been highly organized.","doi":null,"url":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1977/161","pdf":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1977/0161.pdf","markdown":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1977/161.md","bibtex":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1977/bibtex/161","volume":{"slug":"1977","title":"Proceedings of the Fifth International Joint Conference on Artificial Intelligence","short_title":"IJCAI 1977","url":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1977/","year":1977,"location":"Cambridge, MA, USA","dates":"","editors":"Raj Reddy","isbn":"","publisher":"International Joint Conferences on Artificial Intelligence","doi_prefix":""},"section":"Vision","track":"Vision","number":161,"pages":{"first":678,"last":683},"keywords":[],"videos":[],"references":[],"license_note":"Copyright International Joint Conferences on Artificial Intelligence."}
