The bodies are assumed to be bounded by faces which are planar or quadric, and to have vertices formed by exactly three faces. The line and junction information provided to the program by the preprocessor is assumed to contain defects such as missing lines or wrongly classified junction types. The procedure is able to build a description of the bodies in spite of a moderate number of such imperfections. Use is made of a set of new grammar rules for line-drawing projections of curved and planar bodies.","doi":null,"url":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1977/147","pdf":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1977/0147.pdf","markdown":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1977/147.md","bibtex":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1977/bibtex/147","volume":{"slug":"1977","title":"Proceedings of the Fifth International Joint Conference on Artificial Intelligence","short_title":"IJCAI 1977","url":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1977/","year":1977,"location":"Cambridge, MA, USA","dates":"","editors":"Raj Reddy","isbn":"","publisher":"International Joint Conferences on Artificial Intelligence","doi_prefix":""},"section":"Vision","track":"Vision","number":147,"pages":{"first":628,"last":633},"keywords":[],"videos":[],"references":[],"license_note":"Copyright International Joint Conferences on Artificial Intelligence."}
