Its design includes a LISP interpreter with an extended error-handling capability for evaluating functions written by students. Students can ask questions in natural language about LISP in general and concerning specific LISP functions which they have defined. A fuzzy parser interprets the student requests .and builds a LISP function which operates on a semantic network to determine its response.","doi":null,"url":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1975/62","pdf":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1975/0062.pdf","markdown":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1975/62.md","bibtex":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1975/bibtex/62","volume":{"slug":"1975","title":"Proceedings of the Fourth International Joint Conference on Artificial Intelligence","short_title":"IJCAI 1975","url":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1975/","year":1975,"location":"Tbilisi, Georgia, USSR","dates":"","editors":"Patrick Winston and Carl Hewitt","isbn":"","publisher":"International Joint Conferences on Artificial Intelligence","doi_prefix":""},"section":"Natural Language Understanding","track":"Natural Language Understanding","number":62,"pages":{"first":391,"last":395},"keywords":[],"videos":[],"references":[],"license_note":"Copyright International Joint Conferences on Artificial Intelligence."}
