A supporting medical data base has also been assembled, now comprising approximately fifty percent of the major diseases of internal medicine. Usiag weighted associations between disease entities and their manifestations, and employing a powerful attention focusing heuristic, the system has demonstrated competence in dealing with difficult clinical problems involving multiple diagnoses.","doi":null,"url":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1975/134","pdf":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1975/0134.pdf","markdown":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1975/134.md","bibtex":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1975/bibtex/134","volume":{"slug":"1975","title":"Proceedings of the Fourth International Joint Conference on Artificial Intelligence","short_title":"IJCAI 1975","url":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1975/","year":1975,"location":"Tbilisi, Georgia, USSR","dates":"","editors":"Patrick Winston and Carl Hewitt","isbn":"","publisher":"International Joint Conferences on Artificial Intelligence","doi_prefix":""},"section":"Miscellaneous Applications Of A.I.","track":"Miscellaneous Applications Of A.I.","number":134,"pages":{"first":848,"last":854},"keywords":[],"videos":[],"references":[],"license_note":"Copyright International Joint Conferences on Artificial Intelligence."}
