The goal of the project is the elaboration of methods to construct the tree main levels of a control system of the robot's motion and a program complex to realize the robot's behaviour simulation in complex topography. A notable amount of achievements has been reached by now in developing the model of behaviour control for robots in various \"activity areas\". MOst of the models, however, are, to our mind, too \"deterministic\". The hope to obtain interesting results in the field with a model based, in a sense, on the principle of \"maximum indeterminism\" gave rise to the project discussed in the present paper. The corresponding ideology has been almost literally transferred here from the asynchronous programming theory; as to the \"walking\", it was chosen as a model domain because it offers combination of both general and special problems.","doi":null,"url":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1975/126","pdf":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1975/0126.pdf","markdown":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1975/126.md","bibtex":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1975/bibtex/126","volume":{"slug":"1975","title":"Proceedings of the Fourth International Joint Conference on Artificial Intelligence","short_title":"IJCAI 1975","url":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1975/","year":1975,"location":"Tbilisi, Georgia, USSR","dates":"","editors":"Patrick Winston and Carl Hewitt","isbn":"","publisher":"International Joint Conferences on Artificial Intelligence","doi_prefix":""},"section":"Robots And Productivity Technology","track":"Robots And Productivity Technology","number":126,"pages":{"first":794,"last":796},"keywords":[],"videos":[],"references":[],"license_note":"Copyright International Joint Conferences on Artificial Intelligence."}
