Tw o different kinds of problem solvers are used. One is mainly composed of a theorem prover based on the resolution principle, and the other consists of a theorem prover based on pattern matching. These problem solvers are cal led GOAL-FINDER and JOB-SCHEDULER corresponding to their functions. GOAL - FINDER decides a goal state that is suitable for an order of an operator. JOB-SCHEDULER produces a job sequence for a robot to perform the goal state given the constraints of the block world.","doi":null,"url":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1973/50","pdf":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1973/0050.pdf","markdown":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1973/50.md","bibtex":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1973/bibtex/50","volume":{"slug":"1973","title":"Proceedings of the Third International Joint Conference on Artificial Intelligence","short_title":"IJCAI 1973","url":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1973/","year":1973,"location":"Stanford, California, USA","dates":"20-23 August 1973","editors":"Nils J.
