If the extracted features fit the experience of a man as regards his recognition of characters the system is useful, because it displays the intuitive information corresponding to demand, permits us to revise the logics online, and evaluates the logics immediately. The system consists of a NEAC 2200/200 digital computer and a graphic CRT display. The system program called CADOCR is a companied with a recognition program of scheme arbitrarily chosen. In order to test the validity of this system , the sequential logics for recognizing handprinted numerals were designed.","doi":null,"url":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1969/15","pdf":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1969/0015.pdf","markdown":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1969/15.md","bibtex":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1969/bibtex/15","volume":{"slug":"1969","title":"Proceedings of the First International Joint Conference on Artificial Intelligence","short_title":"IJCAI 1969","url":"https://ijcai.org/proceedings/1969/","year":1969,"location":"Washington, DC, USA","dates":"May 7-9, 1969","editors":"Donald E.
